I had a night of going on a downloading spree. The past few times i've done this i've gotten really stoked on good music, found one or two of those perfect songs you know?
heres one of them: Slowdive- Shine

I'm sure I've said this before, but theres something about 90's musi like this that is really melancholy and almost idealizes the early 90's. Something like living in the suburbs and doing nothing and having the best time, which is something i obviously never experienced. I just think that it must have been better than living in the city, much more...epic i suppose. I make shit up, I'm sure it wasn't really like that. But growing up in the city just doesn't feel right. anyway, ill song.

I know people, including myself, get pissed off when people sound similar to singers past, and yes he does sound like ian curtis, but i want EVERYONE to sound like ian curtis. it isn't a good song if you don't really, this guy John Maus has it totally down with his voice and the weird mellow sounds in the background with give him the sound of being from the 80's but hes from today. really amazing song.
